My main goal with my current modeling streak is to rush a bunch of stuff in game to make a simple fps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It seems to be looking fine in unreal also.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"468\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1024 \/ 468;\" width=\"1024\" controls src=\"https:\/\/willkolb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/20240808-2231-55.7003566.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that I have two bonified animated weapons in game (I&#8217;m aggressive not doing any reloads, just goldeneye style hide weapon reloads) I can start working the enemy side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have some ideas but mostly I&#8217;m thinking some kind of drones rushing you and moving in inhuman ways. But the more I look at this guy the more simplistic it seems. I was going for capturing the vibe of modern robotic arms (such as: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.devonics.com\/product-page\/ufactory-xarm-5?utm_source=reachlocal&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_campaign=googleshoppingdevonicsincroboticarms&amp;gad_source=1\">https:\/\/www.devonics.com\/product-page\/ufactory-xarm-5?utm_source=reachlocal&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_campaign=googleshoppingdevonicsincroboticarms&amp;gad_source=1<\/a> )  but I don&#8217;t think they actually look as cool as I wanted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am, however, proud of this top portion:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"508\" src=\"https:\/\/willkolb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-10-1024x508.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-194\" srcset=\"https:\/\/willkolb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-10-1024x508.png 1024w, https:\/\/willkolb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-10-300x149.png 300w, https:\/\/willkolb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-10-768x381.png 768w, https:\/\/willkolb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-10.png 1029w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe not so in execution but definitely in concept. I could take down some of the work I need to do if I just re-use models on the enemies.
